Ali Abdullah Ahmed, from Yemen, died on June 10, 2006 while held by the U.S. military at Guantánamo Bay, Cuba. Joint Task Force Guantánamo gave the cause as hanging, with nooses made of bed sheets and clothing. He is also known as Salah Addin Ali Ahmed al-Salami.
