Alexis Lesage
Alexis Lesage, 28, was held at the Chittenden Regional Correctional Facility in South Burlington, Vermont. She had a medical event at the facility on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, and was taken to the University of Vermont Medical Center, where her condition worsened, and she died there on Saturday, January 17, 2026. Vermont State Police said the death does not appear suspicious and that an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause and manner of death. Her death is pending that autopsy.
