Alexander J. Jasso
Alexander J. Jasso, 33, died on August 26, 2023, while held at High Desert State Prison in Susanville, Lassen County, California. The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation said he was found with multiple stab wounds on the prison yard and taken to an outside hospital, where he died a few hours later. The department said two other incarcerated men were placed in restricted housing while the death is investigated as a homicide, and that an inmate-made weapon was found at the scene. The Lassen County Coroner will determine the official cause of death.
