Alejandro Zepeda
Alejandro Zepeda, 34, of Salinas, died while held at the Monterey County Jail. According to the Monterey County Sheriff's Office, he was found unresponsive in a housing cell around 5 a.m. on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, during the morning meal distribution, and he was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
