Albert England was in the custody of officers in Faulkner County, Arkansas, when a mob of about a dozen masked men took him from them and shot him to death. His killing set off a local feud, and a sheriff who was hunting the mob members was later shot and killed. The account attributes his death to the mob, and it names no other party.
