Alan Span
Alan Span, 48, of Elgin, died on January 25, 2017, while being held at the Kane County Jail in Illinois. The Kane County Sheriff's Office said he was pronounced dead at the facility after staff and medical personnel responded to a medical emergency. The cause of death had not been identified at the time of reporting, and the Illinois State Police were investigating. The sheriff's office said preliminary results showed no foul play.
