Died in jail or a lockup
Alan Jaeger
Alan Jaeger, 35, of Benton Harbor, died on April 7, 2022, while held at the Berrien County Jail in Michigan. According to Undersheriff Chuck Heit, he was housed in the jail's male receiving area when he was found unresponsive that Thursday morning. Heit said paramedics arrived but could not revive him. The cause and manner of death are still pending, and the Michigan State Police are investigating with the WMed Medical Examiner's Office.
