Alan Curtis Dorris, a 54-year-old man, died at the Mississippi State Penitentiary at Parchman. The Mississippi Department of Corrections said he died of natural causes. Reports give two different dates for his death: January 16, 2016, at Unit 30 of the prison, and July 28, 2018.
