Ahntais Lucas
Ahntais Lucas, 39, died at the William G. Truesdale Adult Detention Center in Alexandria, Virginia, in February 2024. A deputy found him unresponsive in his cell shortly before 4 a.m. on February 26, and jail medical staff and Alexandria Fire Department medics tried to save him, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. The Alexandria Police Department is conducting the death investigation, and the Sheriff's Office says it will review whether policies were followed. The cause and manner of death had not been made public at the time of the report.
