Adrian Chevez, 39, died on June 24, 2023, in his cell at the Tarrant County Jail in Texas. The Tarrant County Sheriff's Office said preliminary evidence indicated suicide and that required checks had been completed. He was pronounced dead at John Peter Smith Hospital. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office later found that he died of hanging in a suicide, and the sheriff's office said a suicide note was found.
