Abraham Gatwech Ngor, 61, died on May 6, 2024, at the Crawford County Jail in Denison, Iowa. Jail staff found him unresponsive during a welfare check on a Monday morning, and he was pronounced dead at Crawford County Memorial Hospital. The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation is investigating, and the state medical examiner is to perform an autopsy. No cause of death has been announced.
