Abe Redmond
Abe Redmond was held in the Charlotte County, Virginia, jail. On the night of Wednesday, November 1, 1893, about 11 o'clock, a mob broke in the jail door while two of his guards were asleep, covered the guards and prisoners with pistols, and took him out without a word. He was later found hanged from a tree.
