Aaron Hernandez
Massachusetts State Police said Aaron Hernandez was found hanging in his cell at the Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center in Shirley early on Wednesday, June 28, 2017, and was pronounced dead at UMass Leominster about an hour later. State police said they would continue to investigate the death as a suicide. The father of a man killed in an earlier case said he was not happy about the death and that any loss of life is a shame.
Cause of death, as reported: Died by suicide. Massachusetts State Police said they were investigating the death as a suicide by hanging in his cell.
