Wesley Gautney
Wesley Gautney, 41, was held at the Bibb County Jail in Macon, Georgia. He was found unresponsive in his cell on the night of Monday, June 23, 2025, and was pronounced dead at Atrium Health Navicent about an hour later. Sheriff David Davis said the death was a suicide, and the sheriff's office opened an investigation. Earlier that day, mental health staff from River Edge had cleared him to return to the cellblock.
