A man held at the Appalachian Correctional Institution in Jackson County, Florida, was killed at the prison by another man held there. The State Attorney for the First Judicial Circuit of Florida said the other man, Rocky Ali Beamon, was responsible for the killing. Beamon was sentenced to death for the killing in 2019.
