Died in prison
Name not reported
Two women died at the Louisiana Correctional Institute for Women, a state prison south of Baton Rouge, according to a Marshall Project report published in May 2020. At the time, 165 people held at the facility had tested positive for COVID-19, the most of any prison in the state. The deaths were reported in the context of that outbreak, but the women's names, ages and the cause of their deaths are not given in the account.
