Sheriff Sam Page said three people in their 20s, two men and one woman, died by suicide in February 2021 while held at the Rockingham County jail. According to the reports, each had been held there for a few days or less and was alone in a cell. The sheriff's office said it had no indication the person intended to harm themselves.
