The Dodge County Sheriff's Department announced a press conference in June 2024 on investigations into four deaths at Waupun Correctional Institution in Wisconsin, two of which the department listed as occurring in October 2023. According to the department, the investigations have concluded, and officials planned to release an overview of their findings, accountability actions, and deficiencies identified in the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.
