A man held in the jail at Weiser, Idaho, was taken from his cell by masked men on January 10, 1884, and hanged. His name is not legible in the scanned newspaper page, so he is recorded here without one. The record in hand does not say whether jail staff resisted the mob, gave up the keys, or handed him over.
