A 30-year-old man held at the Yuba County Jail in California died on November 2, 2022, after a medical emergency at the jail. The Yuba County Sheriff's Office said the cause was a medical emergency and that manner of death is pending, and it said the investigation was continuing. He was taken to Adventist Health and Rideout in Marysville, where he was pronounced dead. His name had not been released as of the report.
