Roger McPherson, 66, died on June 19, 2024, at the Reception and Treatment Center, a Nebraska state prison, where he was held in the custody of the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services. The department said he had been in prison since 2002 and was being treated for a medical condition. The department said his cause of death has not yet been determined.
