Robert Hale
Robert Hale was 67 when he died on July 6, 2013, in the medical segregation unit of the Anchorage Correctional Complex, according to the Alaska Department of Corrections. The department said he was in hospice care at the time. His wife and five oldest sons were admitted for short visits in his final days, and the family said he was fading and unresponsive. His eldest son said the family had done all they could to reach out to him.
