Died in prison
Richard Rose
Richard Rose, 24, died on August 21, 2020, at Two Rivers Correctional Institution in Umatilla, Oregon, where he was held in the custody of the Oregon Department of Corrections. His father, Steven Rose, said he spoke with him every week and that Richard was doing many things in prison to better himself; he is survived by his parents and a younger brother and sister. He died in an ambulance on the way from the prison to an outside medical facility. An autopsy was done, but Oregon State Police declined to release the cause or manner of death, and his father said state officials have not responded to family calls.
