Richard Parker, 53, died on March 14, 2026, while held at the Pima County Adult Detention Complex. He was found unresponsive in his cell that Saturday morning and taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Pima County Sheriff's Department detectives said his death may have been a suicide, and the manner of death is still under investigation.
