Philip Deangelo White
Philip Deangelo White, 29, of Kokomo, died in a cell at the Howard County Jail on October 31, 2025. Staff were alerted that he was unconscious, and paramedics and firefighters tried lifesaving measures before he was pronounced dead at 5:48 p.m. The Howard County Coroner's Office said his cause of death is consistent with asphyxia due to hanging. Indiana State Police and the coroner are investigating the death.
