Oscar Ray Bolin Jr., 53, was executed by lethal injection at Florida State Prison in Raiford, Bradford County, on January 7, 2016, after being held on death row there. Florida's Department of Corrections lists the execution as the cause and manner of death, and the governor's office gave the scheduled time as 6 p.m. that evening. WFTV reported that the execution was delayed for almost four hours while the U.S. Supreme Court considered and rejected his final appeal.
