Michael Sanders
Michael Sanders, 32, died on March 3, 2026, while held at Lansing Correctional Facility in Lansing, Kansas. The Kansas Department of Corrections said he was found unresponsive in his cell that Tuesday afternoon. The department said staff attempted life-saving measures but could not revive him. The Kansas Department of Corrections and the Kansas Bureau of Investigation are investigating, and the cause and manner of death are pending an autopsy.
