Michael M. McDonnell
Michael McDonnell, 71, died on February 19, 2023, while in the custody of the Oregon Department of Corrections after nearly 40 years in state prison. He was held at the Oregon State Penitentiary in Salem and was receiving end-of-life hospice care at a hospital when he died, according to the department. The department announced the death but said it could not release a cause of death.
