Died in prison
Michael Francher
Michael Francher, 29, died on September 1, 2019, while in the custody of the Larned Correctional Mental Health Facility in Pawnee County, Kansas. The Kansas Department of Corrections said he was taken to the Pawnee Valley Campus of The University of Kansas Health System, where staff pronounced him dead at about 2:11 p.m. The department said the cause of death is pending an autopsy. The Kansas Bureau of Investigation is investigating along with the department.
