Michael Bradley
Michael Bradley was legally blind, and the district attorney described him as a vulnerable person. In 2021, while he was held at the Curry County Detention Center in New Mexico, another person held there attacked him in his bed, and he was airlifted to a hospital in Lubbock, Texas with severe injuries, including a dislodged eye. He died on December 24, 2024, of a heart attack, more than three years after the assault.
