Marion Murdock Wilson Jr.
Marion Murdock Wilson Jr., 42, was executed by lethal injection at the Georgia Diagnostic and Classification Prison in Jackson on June 20, 2019. Before his death he accepted a final prayer and recorded a statement saying he loved his family and supporters, and he denied on the gurney that he had ever taken a life. Georgia's and the U.S. Supreme Court denied last-minute requests to block the execution that day. The Georgia Department of Corrections, which carried out the execution, lists him among those executed in the state.
