Marc Crawford
Marc Crawford had lung cancer and died on June 24, 2017, while held in Kentucky custody, first at the Madison County Detention Center and later at the Kentucky State Reformatory. His widow, Dawn Crawford, sued, alleging that Correct Care Solutions and facility staff withheld his prescriptions, chemotherapy and breathing treatments. Those allegations are her claims; a federal appeals court dismissed the case against the state corrections commissioner, but the ruling did not decide the claims against the companies and officials with more direct involvement, and they remain unresolved.
