Luis Otero
Luis Otero, 39, died on May 14, 2023, at the Taos County Adult Detention Center in New Mexico. The detention center said staff found him suspended from a vent in the booking area during check-ins. The center said on-site medical staff and Taos County EMS attempted lifesaving measures, and that CPR was ended on orders from a University of New Mexico consortium doctor that Sunday afternoon.
