Louis Davis
Louis Davis was held in the jail at Cuba, Missouri, for several months. Early on Sunday, September 23, 1888, according to a news dispatch from Cuba published in The Morning News, a mob took him from the jail and hanged him. He was killed by the mob after being taken from the custody of the jail.
Cause of death, as reported: Taken from custody and lynched. A Chicago news dispatch from Cuba, Missouri reports that a mob took Louis Davis from the jail and hanged him.
