Krysten Mischelle Gonzalez
Krysten Mischelle Gonzalez, 29, was held at the Oklahoma County Detention Center in Oklahoma City while she waited for an in-patient mental health bed. According to reporting on her death, her public defender's office had been searching for such a bed for about three months. On January 8, 2019, a detention officer found her in her cell during a sight check, and she was pronounced dead at OU Medical Center.
