Kenneth George
Kenneth George, 30, had been part of a crew reading water meters for the village of Dixie Inn since 2016, according to the Webster Parish chief deputy. The crew was made up of people held in custody. Louisiana State Police said that on October 17, 2018, George grabbed another crew member who was slipping from the back of a moving village truck, and both men fell out. George was killed when he hit the pavement, and the other man was hospitalized with injuries State Police described as moderate. State Police said they are investigating the accident.
Cause of death, as reported: Died in an accident. Louisiana State Police say George fell from a moving village pickup truck onto the pavement after grabbing a crew member who was slipping from the truck bed.
