Joseph M. Lockner
Joseph Lockner, 29, of Gray, Tennessee, died on December 20, 2018, after being held at the Washington County Detention Center, where he had been found unresponsive in his cell on December 17. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said six people held at the jail, five of them his cellmates, conspired in an assault on him, and it has charged them. The bureau classifies his death as a homicide caused by that assault.
