John Griswold
John Griswold was a father of two, and his brother Tim says the family misses him. He was held at the Livingston County Jail in Brighton, Michigan, where he died on September 15, 2022. His family and attorney Brian McKeen say deputies failed to get him medical care during overnight checks, and that he had earlier been taken to a hospital after saying he had taken pills. The lawsuit against the Livingston County Sheriff and St. Joseph Mercy Livingston says his family later learned of high levels of an antidepressant in his system. Both the sheriff and the hospital deny wrongdoing.
