Jeffrey Beagley
Jeffrey Beagley, 34, of Grand Junction, Colorado, died on December 23, 2019, after he was found unresponsive in his cell at the Mesa County Detention Facility and was pronounced dead at a hospital. The Mesa County Coroner's Office ruled his death a suicide by hanging, saying he was found in the cell he occupied alone. Investigators said jail staff had not entered the cell between the last time he was seen moving and the time he was found. Earlier reports said the manner of death was pending autopsy and toxicology results.
