Jamie Moore
Jamie Moore, 43, died on August 1, 2018, at the Public Safety Building in Vermilion County, a few hours after an altercation with correctional officers. An autopsy reported that he died of heart disease and an enlarged heart and not as a result of the fight. His daughter Bayleah Moore said he never got to meet her three-year-old daughter face to face, and his family has filed suit against the sheriff's office and held a rally in his memory.
