James Malone was 48. He was found unresponsive on the afternoon of June 3, 2021, at the United States Penitentiary in Atlanta, and emergency medical workers pronounced him dead at the prison, according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons. The FBI was notified, and no cause of death was given.
