Hiu Lui Ng

Hiu Lui Ng, a software developer and father, died in 2007 while held as an ICE detainee at the Wyatt Detention Facility in Rhode Island. Activists from AMOR RI and PrYSM, speaking at a 2021 march in his memory, say he complained of feeling ill and that his symptoms were ignored until it was too late. They say that at the hospital where he died, he was diagnosed with untreated liver cancer and a broken back.
