George Hatton Smithey

George Smithey, 70, was held on death row at San Quentin State Prison. NBC Bay Area reported that he was found hanging in his cell on Saturday, August 28, 2010, the second suicide at the prison that weekend. The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation lists his death as a suicide.
