Frank Young was one of two men held in the jail at Del Norte, Colorado, in March 1882. A Republican special dispatch published in the Daily Los Angeles Herald says about one hundred mounted men, supposed to be stockmen from the Rio Grande and San Luis valleys, rode down on the guards on a Saturday night and broke the jail open.
