Deonte Bennett
Deonte Bennett, 27, died on July 31, 2018, while held at the Central Mississippi Correctional Facility in Pearl, Mississippi. Mississippi Department of Corrections spokeswoman Grace Fisher said staff found him unresponsive in his cell. Fisher said there were no obvious signs of foul play and that an autopsy would be performed, and the cause and manner of his death remain pending.
