Deltra Henderson
Deltra Henderson, 39, was held at David Wade Correctional Center in Homer, Louisiana. Authorities said he died in July 2017 after an exchange of gunfire with prison guards and sheriff's deputies at a house on the center's grounds. Amanda Carney, an 18-year-old who lived on the property, also died in the events that day, and her father has sued the state over its responsibility for her death.
