Dean Hendricks
Dean Allan Hendricks, 75, of Dayton, died on December 31, 2025, at the Silver Springs Substation in Lyon County, Nevada, while deputies were transporting him. The Lyon County Sheriff's Office said deputies had arrested him at his home and were driving him to the Lyon County Jail in Yerington when the deputy stopped and found him not breathing. The sheriff's office said deputies escorted him inside his home to collect medication before transport, and that preliminary findings show no foul play; autopsy results are pending. The Carson City Sheriff's Office is investigating the death.
