David Garcia
David Garcia, 40, died on May 20, 2021, while held at Ellsworth Correctional Facility in Ellsworth County, Kansas. The Kansas Department of Corrections said the cause of death is pending an autopsy and that preliminary tests showed it was not related to COVID-19. The department said the Kansas Bureau of Investigation is also investigating the death, as is its protocol.
