Cornelius Howell
Cornelius Howell, 33, died at the Hamilton County Justice Center in Cincinnati, Ohio, on December 9, 2018. The sheriff's office said he had been involved in an altercation with another person held there earlier that day, and that after he was evaluated for a cut lip, deputies placed him in a restraint chair in the medical unit. The sheriff's office said deputies did not use force against him. Corrections officers found him dead around 9:40 p.m., and the Hamilton County Coroner's Office has not yet determined the cause of death, with an autopsy pending.
