Christ Helphenstine
Chris Helphenstine, 40, of Vanceburg, died on April 18, 2017, while held at the Lewis County Detention Center in Kentucky. Kentucky State Police said no foul play was suspected and that an autopsy would determine the cause of death. He was pronounced dead en route to Portsmouth Regional Hospital. The cause of death had not been announced when the reports were published.
